TRANSPORT

If you want to stay comfortable in your van, truck or camper, no matter the weather, you need to insulate.
A well-insulated van is easier to heat and cool, stays warmer in the winter, and won’t heat up as quickly in the summer (especially if you also prevent radiant heat from getting in through the windows).

LET US HELP YOU PROTECT YOUR BIGGEST INVESTMENT

WHEN THE RADIANT HEAT FROM THE SUN WARMS THE

metal body of your van, the heat is transferred inside through conduction.   When it’s cold, heat also transfers out of the van via conduction. MAGNUS can help you to slow the process of heat transfer by insulating the walls, ceilings and even floors with the most cost-efficient and practical insulation:  Poliurathane Spray Foam Insulation.

BUT NOT ALL FOAMS ARE THE SAME!

Like with any other product, between all 2LB - medium density - Closed Cell - CCMC approved foams out there,  there are good and "not so good" foams.  They are all different: some are more flexible or rigid, some are more or less permeable, some spray easier (the "flat look") some give better yield, some have better adhesion to the substrate, and some are just cheaper all around.

After spraying and testing almost every Canadian approved foam available on the market (with exception of some very "cheap" ones), we are determined to offer only those from which we can expect consistent reliability and performance over time.  Those that will add durability and performance, yet been flexible enought to resist the constant vibration of you van.

DIY PROJECTS:

If you are building your own custom van, insulation is one of the most important steps, and it pays to take the time to do it right.   There’s also a lot of confusion and debate over the best way to insulate a campervan, yet there is no better choice that using good spray foam insulation, installed by a professional.

With our premium products of spray foam Insulation, MAGNUS can effectively insulate the inside your van’s hollow frame, and even the underside of your floor, thus reducing the effect of thermal bridging.  Spray foam insulation has the highest R-value per inch at R-7, and when installed correctly forms an impermeable vapor barrier that can shield your van’s metal walls from condensation, also working as a sound dampener.
